PTC ALLIANCE CONTINUES TO INVEST IN SUPPORT OF CHANGING CUSTOMER NEEDS

Pittsburgh, PA – (January 20, 2011) – PTC Alliance is announcing the expansion of its capacity at two of its North American facilities.

PTC Alliance’s Hopkinsville facility has recently doubled its manufacturing output through the re-hiring and training of 45 employees running 3 shifts. This Kentucky location produces DOM and Seamless tubing in sizes up to 6” in diameter.

PTC Alliance’s Chicago Heights facility, which was idled in 2004, has been reopened. This location, located in Illinois is currently producing sizes up to 3” in diameter. The investments in new equipment and building improvements has resulted in the hiring of 30 new employees. Plans are to further expand the capacity at this facility in the coming months. Eventually, this facility will produce DOM tubing up to 6” in diameter.
